About us

The Gallery was founded in 1997 by Rudolf de Ruijter and Anneke van Santen
and specialises in African Tribal Art.

We are proud of our choice of Berber jewellery as well as ethnic beadwork and adornment from East Africa. Our masks and sculptures with strong forms and design are mainly from West Africa and Congo.

Among our clients worldwide are both amateurs and collectors of African Art
and Design. Because we aim at quality our items can be found in famous
collections and museums in both Europe and the USA.

Our success resulted in three home exhibitions annually nowadays. Each one
is based on a different theme in African Art. You can also meet us at the
annual Tribal Art Fair Amsterdam in October as well as at contemporary art
fairs and tribal art events.
